What's Included

Space that can pay for itself.

An ADU serves two very different owners: the family who needs another bedroom, and the investor who needs rentable square footage. Both need the same two things from a builder, an honest read on what the lot allows, and a permit path that does not stall.

Questions worth asking.

Can the ADU be rented out?
In most Orange County jurisdictions, long-term tenancy is permitted. Short-term rental rules vary by city and change often, so we flag the current rules for your address during feasibility.
What size ADU does my lot allow?
State minimums set the floor, and your lot's setbacks and existing coverage set the practical ceiling. We assess both up front so you know the real buildable envelope before design starts.
How long does permitting take?
Cities must act on a complete application within sixty days, though corrections and utility clearances can stretch that. We prepare a complete submittal the first time to keep the clock moving.
What does an ADU typically cost?
Garage conversions land at the low end and detached ground-up units at the high end, with utility runs the usual surprise. After a lot assessment we put a real range in writing rather than quoting blind.
